Jochen Seggelke

studied the clarinet with Hans Pfeifer in Mannheim and has since played in a considerable number of German orchestras and ensembles (e.g. Concerto Köln, Acamus). In 1995 he finished his training as maker of woodwind instruments and set up his own business, which he merged with Werner Schwenk's company in 1996. He still can't stop making music and his experience as professional clarinettist allows him to relate to customer's wishes particularly well. Meanwhile, he has earned an entry in Germany's “Who's who” and has been on the road as “ambassador for the economic region of Bamberg” since 2005. From time to time he can be spotted sailing.

Eduard Nagel

is a master maker of woodwind instruments and joined in the SCHWENK & SEGGELKE team in 2005, after working for a renowned clarinet maker for 25 years. He has a great penchant for folk music (“World music”), in which he is accomplished both as a dancer and as a clarinettist. He also plays the saxophone in smaller and larger ensembles (see www.es-as.de).

Udo Schadeberg

is a master maker of woodwind instruments and came upon the clarinet as a child through music school. He soon turned his hobby into his profession. After years of professional experience in Markneukirchen he has now been with SCHWENK & SEGGELKE since April 2006 and enriches our team with his wealth of experience.

Werner Schwenk

has been an instrument maker since 1983. He trained with Kreul in Tübingen where he worked for 19 years, followed by five years with Püchner. After passing his examination for the master craftsman's certificate in Munich he finally ventured into the ruinous business of self-employment in 1986. In 1996, he combined his expertise with that of Jochen Seggelke and moved to Bamberg in 1998. After five decades as a “pipe maker” he is more and more frequently observed roaming far and wide on his e-bike during his increasing leisure time.
